Our Story

Vademecum was established in 1987 to meet the need of healthcare professionals for accessing drug information. This initiative provided healthcare professionals with easy access to detailed medication information.

Steps towards digitization were initiated within Vademecum. QR code integration was introduced to facilitate easier tracking of frequently updated content.

A significant step in Vademecum’s digitization journey was taken with the introduction of the first digital product in CD format. During this period, users could access content from their computers more quickly and conveniently.

Vademecum Online platform was launched, marking the end of the era of CD uploads. Users could now easily access accurate and up-to-date information from any device with an internet connection.

Vademecum underwent corporate structuring to provide more effective services under the umbrella of Vademecum Publishing Inc.

Collaboration with the Ministry of Health initiated the development of projects such as the Sportsman Health mobile application and integration with the E-Nabız platform. These initiatives enabled Vademecum to offer more comprehensive services in the healthcare sector.

Vademecum expanded its international collaborations, commencing operations in Saudi Arabia.

Vademecum ceased the production of traditional printed books and focused on delivering its services through digital platforms such as websites, mobile applications, and API integrations.

Integration with Reçetem, the electronic prescription system used by all physicians in Turkey, was initiated, further expanding Vademecum’s services to healthcare professionals.

Integration efforts with the Ministry of Health in Qatar commenced, strengthening Vademecum’s presence in the international arena.
